A Life Group is a group of Christians who meet regularly to fellowship around their common life and purpose in Christ. The focus is to build each other up by prayerfully speaking the Word of God, and mutually care, support and serve one another so that believers and non-believers alike will be attracted and know, love, and serve Jesus Christ.

<div>The Bible clearly teaches that baptism is the first step of obedience after believing in Jesus Christ: <em>“Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins”</em> (Acts 2:38). Baptism is an outward picture of what has already taken place on the inside of believers, allowing them to publicly profess their faith in Jesus through immersion in water. <br><br>

<div>GraceHill Youth (GY) exists to assist Christian families in their God-ordained task of raising mature teenage worshippers of Jesus Christ.  We desire to help students from 7-12th grade get to know Jesus, ask questions, make a personal profession of faith, and become equipped to live as followers of Jesus.<br><br>We believe that the Gospel, received by faith, changes everything and we desire to see students grow deeper in love with God, His people, His Word, and His mission. <br><br>

GraceHill Youth (Middle & High School)

<h1>The Intro</h1><div>
<em>Old Testament Survey I </em>provides an overview of the message of the Old Testament, both at the level of individual books and within the larger canon of Scripture. Students will not only grasp the main theme of each book but also see how each contributes to the Bible’s overarching message (big picture). In this first part of the survey, we will trace the flow of redemptive history from creation to the rise of King David (Genesis–2 Samuel). Above all, the class will highlight how the Old Testament points forward to Christ, prepares the way for His coming, and finds its fulfillment in Jesus the Messiah.</div><h1>The Goals</h1><div>By the end of this course, students should be able to:</div><ul>
<li>Understand how key Old Testament passages fit into the storyline of redemptive history.</li>
<li>Explain the central message of each Old Testament book and how it contributes to the overarching message of Scripture.</li>
<li>Recognize how the entire Old Testament points to, anticipates, and is fulfilled in Jesus Christ.</li>
<li>Deepen their worship of God by treasuring Him above all else in heart and life.</li>
</ul><h1>The Commitment</h1><div>This class is open to anyone junior high age and older. Students may participate at different levels of commitment depending on their ability and interest:</div><ol>

<strong>Sundays Only</strong> – Attend class each week and participate in the lecture and discussion.</li>
<li>
<strong>Sundays + Reading</strong> – In addition to class, read through each book of the Bible as we study it week by week.</li>
<li>
<strong>Sundays + Reading + Writing</strong> – Along with attendance and reading, complete a brief (1–2 page) paper for each book, responding to a synopsis question provided in advance.</li>
